Project Update: New Lake Gauges Installed
The Great Lake gauge is at the end of the dock at the small boat launch area.
The project team installed two new lake gauges in Croatan National Forest this week.
If you are traveling near or visiting Great Lake or Catfish Lake, stay on the lookout for the Lake Level Monitoring Project gauges, and send us a measurement!
For the specific location of each gauge, check out our list of lake gauges and their locations.
For those of you already familiar with the project, you’ll notice that we have added the web address to the gauge sign for those of you would like to enter data directly into the website. There is also a new phone number to which you can text your measurement. We’ll be updating signs on all existing gauges over the next few weeks.
