On Wednesday, June 19, staff from the City of Worcester, Massachusetts installed a LOCSS lake gauge and sign in Bell Pond, a 10 acre lake located in the Bell Hill neighborhood of the city.
In fall of 2018, the LOCSS team began studying lakes outside of North Carolina for the first time, when we put gauges in 12 lakes in the state of Washington.
Several LOCSS team members travelled to Illinois the week of May 13 to begin studying lakes in the northeastern portion of the state.
